Privacy policy
For the Tunley Athletic FC app and tunleyafc.uk. Last updated 18 October 2026.
Tunley Athletic FC is a village football club in Tunley, near Bath. The club app is published by Matthew Rainwater on the club's behalf. This page explains, in plain English, what information the app and website use.
The short version
- You do not need an account. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or location.
- There are no adverts and no advertising or tracking tools in the app.
- The only thing the app sends us is your match prediction, if you choose to make one.
Predict the Match
If you make a prediction, the app saves your predicted score and first scorer, along with a random code created on your phone the first time you predict (for example "tunley-m3k9-..."). The code is only used to make sure each phone predicts once per match. It is not linked to your name, your phone number or any other app, and we cannot use it to identify you.
Individual predictions are never shown to anyone. The app only shows totals, such as how many fans picked each score.
Information stored on your phone
The app keeps the random prediction code on your phone so it remembers you have already predicted. Deleting the app removes it.
Fixtures, results, squads and news
The app downloads fixtures, results, league tables, squad lists, player photos and club news from our database. This is club information, not information about you.
Technical information
Like any app or website, the services we use receive basic technical details when your phone connects to them, such as your IP address, phone model and app version. These are used only to deliver the app, its updates and its content, and to keep them working. Our providers are:
- Supabase, which stores the club's data (servers in London, UK)
- Expo, which delivers app updates
- Netlify, which hosts tunleyafc.uk
We do not sell or share information with anyone else, and we do not use it for marketing.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages. It does not ask anyone, including children, for personal information.
Your choices
Making a prediction is optional. If you would like a prediction removed, email us with the match and roughly when you predicted, and we will delete it. You can also simply delete the app.
